Please join us as we celebrate the dedication of the latest house sponsored by Ferguson Cares, which also happens to be Habitat's 201st home built!!!!
This house was built in partnership with the Niyonzima family. The dedication ceremony will take place in the 2000 block of Madison Avenue. Sam and Media Niyonzima were born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and later left their country due to the upscale of violence that was occurring. Both Media and Sam then moved and grew up in Uganda refugee settlement. While in the DR, Sam worked for Action Africa as a nutritionist assistant. Media diligently took care of her seven siblings through farming and helping to provide for her family. In 2016, the Niyonzima family moved to the United States. Media and Sam have three wonderful children, and together they love cooking together and traveling on the weekends! And they are so thankful to finally be able to afford their very own home! We hope you will join us for this ceremony! Event will last no more than 30 minutes and will be held rain or shine!
