 On Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 11:30 a.m., HabitatPGW and building sponsor Anheuser Busch held a dedication ceremony for the Morisset family home in James City County! The excited homeowner is Laurena Morisset, who was born and raised in Haiti and moved to America in 1998. She lives and works in Williamsburg. Laurena has three children that live with her. Ana, age 20, had an unfortunate case of meningitis as a child that has left her with symptoms akin to cerebral palsy. Her daughter, Marguerite is 17 and will be a senior at War Hill High School in the fall. Laurena’s youngest; Ishmael age 12 will be in the 8th grade at Hornsby Middle School in the fall. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home will be fully accessible so Ana can live at home safely with her family.
