Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg cordially invites you to a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Tanya Johnson and her family.
The ceremony will be held Thursday, June 29 at 3:30pm at 1125 34th Street, Newport News, VA. This fun and moving ceremony will last less than 30 minutes and is very casual. The ceremony will be held rain or shine, and refreshments will be available afterward. Tanya Johnson was born and raised in Hayti, Missouri, and relocated to Newport News in 2001. She has been employed with the City of Newport News for the past four years in the Human Services Dept. Tanya is the mother of two sons and one daughter, and is also a grandmother! She is very excited to become a homeowner and start making memories with her family! This beautiful Habitat home was funded and built by the employees of Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls. A cornerstone and great supporter of this community, this is the 15th home the shipyard has funded and built for a Habitat family on the Peninsula. Parking is available on the street, as well as the C.C. Carter Funeral Home at 3314 Roanoke Avenue, just across the street. If you have any questions, please call the office at 757-596-5553 option 6.
