Peninsula Housing & Builders Association 2016 "Parade of Homes"
Habitat has been selected as the recipient of proceeds from the sale of a Parade of Homes house built by E. R. Lenz Contracting, Inc!
The Peninsula Housing and Builders Association selected Founders Pointe as the site for the 2016 PARADE of HOMES in Isle of Wight County, Virginia near the historic town of Smithfield. Eight new designer models are now under construction on this lakefront court which overlooks the park-like setting where the Founders Pointe Residents’ Club and pool complex is located.

HABITAT RESTORE WINS AWARD and ANNOUNCES CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY!
Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9am – 6pm
The Habitat ReStore - Newport News received the Engagement Award from Newport News City Summer Training and Enrichment Program (STEP). The Engagement Award was given to the business most involved and engaged with this unique program, and Habitat won this award out of the 70+ businesses participating, STEP provides employment opportunities for at-risk young people from the city's Southeast Community. STEP is a work readiness program for 16 to 24 year olds living in defined areas of the City that provide paid work training experience, enrichment activities, workshops, financial literacy training, and GED preparation classes. The Habitat ReStore employed 6 youth at the ReStore on Warwick Boulevard in the Hilton Shopping Center and two participants hired from the program last year are still working at the ReStore.
The Habitat ReStore is also excited to announce a Customer Appreciation Day scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9am – 6pm. The Habitat ReStore - Newport News is located at 9614 Warwick Boulevard in the Hilton Shopping Center.
The Habitat ReStore - Newport News will have special sales, complimentary refreshments, raffles and prizes all day on Saturday.
