Both ReStore locations still have reduced hours of Monday-Saturday, 10-4pm and are adhering to our local government and CDC guidelines. Donation pickups have also resumed! Our primary concern is the health and safety of our partner families, volunteers, customers, supporters and staff. Thank you for your patience while we navigate this new normal together. You can also shop the ReStore online at https://restorepgw.square.site!
Donations may be dropped off Thursday to Saturday, 10-4 p.m. FREE donation pickups of large items have resumed for residential customers and can be scheduled by calling 757-596-5553 opt 1 or using the pickup form found here.
Habitat's program and administrative staff will continue to work remotely, using scheduled (and isolated) visits to the office/store as necessary, in order to meet the needs of our existing partner families, donors, supporters and staff. Construction will continue with limited volunteers. If you'd like to volunteer with us, please visit our volunteer page here.

We are excited to announced the reopening of both ReStore locations. Please read below for more information about this weekend. In a show of appreciation, the ReStore plans to offer a 25% purchase discount for all medical staff and first responders. Customers simply need to show a badge or work I.D. to the cashier at check-out. All other customers will receive a 15% purchase discount during Saturday’s reopening. Shoppers can also now purchase online at https://restorepgw.square.site, plus schedule a curbside pickup of their order.

Just as with our nation, every day is different at Habitat during this pandemic. Program, administrative and ReStore staff continue to work remotely, with scheduled (and isolated) visits to the office/store as necessary, in order to meet the needs of our existing partner families, donors, supporters and staff. Please see small changes below. Stay safe and please stay home, where possible.
HABITAT RESTORE
Both ReStore locations (Williamsburg/Newport News) remain closed to the public. Donation pickups and drop-offs have been suspended until the curve flattens. We are hopeful to have the online store up and going early next week. The Williamsburg location's April anniversary celebration has been postponed.
VOLUNTEERS
All volunteer opportunities continue to be suspended until further notice.
HOMEBUYER APPLICATIONS
Applications for our first-time homebuyer program will be accepted during the month of April, with revised procedures. Completed applications, with processing fee, may only be mailed or placed in our office mail slot. There will be NO in-person application processing. Applications may be picked up at either the Program office or both ReStore locations.
RUN THE D.O.G. ST 5K - POSTPONED
The 11th Annual Run The D.O.G. St. 5K has been postponed until Saturday, September 5. If the new date does not work for participants who have already paid, you can also run the race virtually or request a deferral. In those cases, please contact Race Director Jim Elder using jim@colonialsportscustom.com.
